After a long bike ride around the city, it was exactly what was needed.

I had assumed four days would be plenty of time in Singapore. I was very wrong.

From The Fullerton, we explored hawker centres and sampled local favourites, toured the underground Battlebox to learn about Singapore’s wartime history, and spent hours immersed in the digital wonderland of the ArtScience Museum.

A highlight was the Let’s Go Bike Historical Singapore Tour, a four-hour ride through this impressively flat city, uncovering hidden corners and local food stories along the way. It’s a fantastic way to understand Singapore beyond the skyline.

Even something as iconic as Gardens by the Bay deserves more time than you think. We scheduled a few hours before departure and quickly realised it wasn’t enough.
