The Pullman Brisbane Airport Hotel review
Just five minutes walk from Brisbane’s Domestic Terminal and a few minutes drive from the International Terminal, this new hotel has everything needed for a comfortable and stylish Brisbane Airport hotel stopover when you have a long transit or have missed a flight. The hotel’s Apron Restaurant is a new dining gem with a strong focus on local produce and an innovative menu. It’s destination dining before you get to the destination!
The best Brisbane airport hotel accommodation.
Step inside your room at Pullman Brisbane Airport
With a view over the airport tarmac, there’s no danger that you are going to forget your impending departure. However, don’t expect to hear the planes or have them disturb your sleep because it just doesn’t happen. The spacious rooms are well kitted out for a traveller’s needs with plenty of spaces to charge your phone in places where you won’t forget it. (Yes, this happens a lot!)
The bathroom has everything you need plus a makeup mirror, which is often lacking in hotel bathrooms. The hairdryer has enough grunt to dry your hair in minutes not hours like some of the pathetic, noisy excuses for a hair dryer I have experienced in my travels.
For the plane spotter, the ultimate temptation might be the ability to push back the glass doors surrounding the bathroom and still plane watch while sitting on the loo!

The 4-star Pullman Airport Hotel is located right next door 3.5-star to Ibis Brisbane Airport Hotel which has another 243 guest rooms. On the ground floor of the Ibis, the Cribb Island Beach Club is a relaxed bistro with an adjoining café. It takes its name from the suburb of Cribb Island which has been taken over by the airport development. Eat local at Apron Restaurant, Pullman Brisbane Airport
Taste the region with Moreton Bay oysters, local barramundi or free-range suckling pig or a mud crab congee at the hotel’s upscale restaurant, Apron. Located on the ground floor of The Pullman, the 90-seat a la carte restaurant and private dining area have a carefully-curated menu that features excellent produce sourced from the regions directly around the hotel.
Day-trippers can relax at the Apron Bar
If you just want to escape from the airport to somewhere quiet, the Apron Bar is an excellent choice. Take a seat in the lounge area or prop yourself at the bar from midday through to late in the evening any day. The bar has a nifty phone charger built into the bar top. If your phone is not the latest enabled charging model, they have red ring adapters on hand for patrons so you can charge your phone at the bar simply by putting it in the right spot. Staff research shows it takes about one minute for each per cent to charge. That’s guilt-free drinking/charging for 100 minutes.
