Brisbane has a bold new entertainment precinct, and it’s already shaping up as one of the city’s most exciting dining and brewery destinations. Landers Pocket Brisbane, just 15 minutes from the CBD and moments before Brisbane Airport, blends a Brisbane brewery, distillery, restaurant, outdoor bar, driving range, and mini golf experience into one sprawling hub of fun.

If you know where the DFO and Novotel Brisbane Airport sit, you’ll find Landers Pocket easily. And with airport-to-DFO transfers, it’s one of the best things to do near Brisbane Airport on a longer layover — a chance to eat well, sip something cold, and even take a swing on the range before your flight.

Spread across more than 16 hectares (four times the size of Howard Smith Wharves), this Queensland-owned destination is designed for everyone — families, couples, corporates, locals exploring new pockets of the city, and even first-date flutters via Hinge. It’s a Brisbane dining and entertainment precinct with serious ambition.

“This is just the beginning,” says James Cooper, Director at Landers Pocket. And he’s not exaggerating.

4 Pines Brewing Co at Landers Pocket: Brisbane’s Newest Brewery Experience

At the heart of Landers Pocket is an 800-capacity Brisbane brewery run by 4 Pines Brewing Co, pouring 32 draught taps of their award-winning beers. Alongside their core range, you’ll find two rotating microbrewery specials — limited-edition brews crafted exclusively for Brisbane and available only at Landers Pocket.

“4 Pines Brewing at Landers Pocket is about bringing people together — beer lovers, travellers, golfers and families alike,” says Todd Atkinson, General Manager of 4 Pines Brewing Co.

This is easygoing Brisbane hospitality wrapped in a modern brewery with space to stretch out, lean back and settle in with a fresh local beer.

Never Never Distillery: Gin With a Brisbane Twist

Never Never Distillery: Gin With a Brisbane Twist

If gin is your drink, the Never Never Distillery on-site is a major drawcard. For two of Never Never’s founders — both Queensland born — Landers Pocket is a homecoming, and they’re bringing their much-awarded spirits along for the ride.

Put the Oyster Shell Gin at the top of your list. It’s aromatic, coastal and exceptional in a martini (there’s even an ice-luge version for those keen to embrace the full theatre).

This pairing — big brewery energy from 4 Pines and refined distillery craft from Never Never — makes Landers Pocket one of the strongest Brisbane dining and drinks destinations to emerge in years.

Golf Central & TopTracer Bays: A New Way to Play in Brisbane

Right next door is Golf Central, featuring 52 TopTracer tech-powered bays. For golf lovers, this is big. For the rest of us, it translates simply to: how far can I hit this golf ball?

It’s one of the most entertaining things to do near Brisbane Airport, whether you’re celebrating, killing time before a flight, or looking for a quirky Brisbane date idea.

Add in the colourful, personality-packed mini golf Brisbane course and you’ve got a destination built for laughs, rivalry and plenty of repeat visits.

Parking? That’s sorted too — the footprint has quadrupled, making Landers Pocket one of the easiest-access venues in the city.

What to eat at Landers Pocket

What to Eat at Landers Pocket

I sampled the restaurant a few days after opening and found it swamped by eager diners with a few teething problems.  As they find their stride, things should improve.

The menu leans into Queensland’s coastal bounty and generous comfort cooking, offering a menu designed for long, easy afternoons. Start with the hot-smoked salmon rillette, silky against crisp focaccia with a pop of salmon roe, or the Mooloolaba grilled split prawns brushed in confit garlic and tomato butter. The yellowfin kingfish ceviche brings a bright, citrusy lift, while oyster lovers can choose between Sydney Rocks served natural or Kilpatrick, especially good with a sip of Never Never’s Oyster Shell Gin.

Seafood continues to shine in the Moreton Bay bug and prawn pasta, where squid ink noodles meet a rich prawn bisque, and in the pan-seared market fish finished with beurre blanc and charred broccolini. If you prefer something heartier, the Berkshire crispy skin pork belly delivers that perfect crackle balanced with apple, fennel and raisin.

The crumbed reef fish burger adds a crunchy coastal twist, while Pizza fans won’t be disappointed with the mortadella number topped with burrata, pistachio and hot honey, or the indulgent gin-cured salmon pizza with crème fraîche and fried capers.
